Our Purpose & Inclusion Mission
At Wayfair, our mission is to drive positive change and empower the creation of strong, supportive communities, both within our workplace and in external communities.

Purpose at Wayfair
Purpose is the ways in which Wayfair shows up and makes a positive difference in our communities. We aim to bring both positive change to our communities and tangible value to the business by leading initiatives focused on supporting housing and a sense of home for all.

Inclusion at Wayfair
Inclusion is ensuring that we're creating an environment where employees bring their full selves to work. Inclusion is not only core to our values, but can also help us unlock the full potential of Wayfair’s workforce. We win together when employees feel they are in supportive spaces. Employees contribute more when they feel safe, which in turn sparks innovation and allows teams to always improve and drive the best results possible.
2023 Corporate Responsibility Report
We seek to create a culture of belonging for our employees through our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We foster an inclusive and engaged global community through education and awareness programming, by building systems and policies that support and enhance a culture of inclusion and recognition, and by bolstering community organizations and partnerships that help create a more equitable society.

What Our People Are Saying

Amanda, Women+@Work ERG
“One of the biggest honors of my career has been the opportunity to co-lead the Women+@Wayfair Employee Resource Group of Boston. Each day, I am inspired by the incredible talent, resilience, and grit of women+ at Wayfair. Our goal is to provide a meaningful framework and forum for the women+ communities at Wayfair to celebrate, learn, and amplify action.”

Amber, WayBlack ERG
“I love being a lead for WayBlack Bryan. This gives us the opportunity to speak to colleagues around the company, educating them on the importance of respecting all of the talent that Black/African Americans bring to the company. Being able to use both of my passions of advocating for Black people and teaching/training our allies the best way to help their teams grow and adapt makes my career fulfilling, and I am so thankful for that.”
