Everyone deserves a place to call home. At Wayfair, we’re partnering with Community Solutions to help make this possible. Here, we talk with founder and president Rosanne Haggerty on what makes all the difference.

Over the past three years, Wayfair has partnered with Junior Achievement of Northern New England, a national organization whose mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed. Each year, they hold their Company Program, an event where high school students get together to innovate, create, and build a company and product from scratch. Through this partnership with JA, Wayfair employees have dedicated themselves as mentors and offered their subject matter expertise to students as they navigate their projects.

At Wayfair, our purpose is to help everyone, anywhere create their feeling of home, and we know that feeling can take many forms, from having a roof over one’s head to receiving the support of friends, family and community - particularly during times of need. National Volunteer Week, which takes place in April each year, provides our team an opportunity to celebrate the impact of community service and identify new ways to give back. With the majority of our teams still working remotely and not able to volunteer in person, this year we had to get creative.

Leader in Home to Donate an Initial $1 Million by End of Year as Part of its Long-Term Partnership

For Veterans and military families, having a comfortable and accessible home where they can focus on their families, reconnect, and recover after serving is so important. That’s why Wayfair is a proud partner of Homes For Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially-adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives.

During the Presidential campaign season in America, it can be almost impossible to escape the near constant coverage and conversations surrounding the premiere candidates and their positions on the issues. However, as voters look further down the ballot, they’ll find lesser-known candidates in local races who don’t receive the same kind of national attention that Presidential candidates do. As a result, voters may find themselves uninformed on those candidates' views and unsure of who they’d prefer to vote for.
