One Year In, Our Celebrate Black Makers Program is Making an Impact

This article is a part of our Celebrate Black Makers content series designed to spotlight the stories and perspectives that our Black-owned supplier partners bring to the home industry.

One Year In, Celebrate Black Makers is Making an Impact

This Black History Month, we’re proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Supplier Diversity at Wayfair – a program that was designed in partnership with our suppliers to expand the breadth of opportunities available to all our suppliers, including those from traditionally underrepresented groups. Check out these spotlight stories on just a few of our partners, including Mitchell Black, Indigo Road, Sukie’s Candle Co., and Karen Jai Home, to learn about them and how the program has made an impact on their businesses.

Over the past year, we’ve also had the opportunity to showcase our partners and their stories through our Celebrate Black Makers initiative, which represents our commitment to recognize, uplift and celebrate Black-owned businesses and their products by making it easier for customers to find them. Today, our customers can shop our curated selection through a dedicated landing page, by selecting the “Black-Owned or Designed” search filter, or by viewing an identifiable badge featured on applicable product description pages.

We look forward to continuing to grow this program, and our new partners along with it. Learn more about Celebrate Black Makers and shop Wayfair’s Black-owned suppliers.
