Your peers often highlight your collaboration. How do you approach teamwork, and why does it matter so much at Wayfair?
For me, it's all about being quick to respond and always happy to lend a hand when colleagues get in touch. I figure if I help others out, they'll do the same for me when I'm stuck.
Wayfair's got a culture of working together and it's great to be around others who are just as keen to get things done as I am. That team spirit is great for Wayfair because it means we can all come up with different ideas, share what we know easily and present solutions quicker as a group.
What is it about your work that motivates you?
I'm motivated by working with data and building insights that directly inform business decisions. I enjoy being presented with a problem or a question and then having the opportunity to dive deep and find a resolution.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received?
The best career advice I've received is to focus on work that you genuinely enjoy and feel a sense of reward from.
What’s something that most people wouldn’t know about you?
While some folks in our Galway office might know this, I actually met my wife, Ana Gil, here at Wayfair.
What are you doing when you aren’t at work?
When I'm not at Wayfair, I'm usually spending time with my kids, enjoying music at festivals like Primavera or travelling and exploring new places. I’m looking forward to travelling to Madeira later this year.

We recently renovated our bathroom and this
