What do you enjoy most about working at Wayfair?
I greatly value the supportive culture and collaborative environment. I love being part of a team that truly wants to help one another succeed and deliver exceptional service. Wayfair gives me the opportunity to learn and help customers every day — which is incredibly rewarding. And even though the pace can be fast, the people make it fun and motivating.
What project or accomplishment are you most proud of during your time at Wayfair?
There have been many times I’ve been able to turn potentially stressful customer situations into positive experiences. Whether it’s catching a delivery issue before it affects the customer or coordinating with partners to ensure a smooth arrival of a high-value piece, I love being able to make a difference.
I try my best to be someone the team can rely on to monitor complex orders and handle luxury customer needs with care and professionalism.
What’s one fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I love geocaching — it feels like a real-life treasure hunt. It’s an outdoor game where people hide small containers in parks or city corners, and you track them down using GPS coordinates. I enjoy the mix of puzzles and exploring places I never would’ve found otherwise. Adventure is second-nature to me. In retirement, I dream of embracing vanlife and traveling the country in my van, waking up to new adventures every day.
What are you doing when you aren’t working?
You’ll usually find me spending time with my grandchildren, who always keep life joyful and interesting. I also enjoy winding down with video games. It's my favorite way to relax and have a little fun. And whenever I can, I head outdoors for a geocaching adventure.
What is your approach to effective teamwork?
For me, effective teamwork is all about clear communication, support and reliability. I believe in keeping my team updated, asking questions when needed and stepping in to help whenever I can.
I try to create an environment where people feel comfortable reaching out, sharing information and solving problems together. We all succeed when we lift each other up, and I take pride in being a teammate people can count on.
What’s your favorite Wayfair product that you’ve purchased?
That would definitely be the
Miroco 4-in-1 Electric Milk Frother. It makes the perfect hot or cold foam for all my cozy coffee drinks. I use it every day, and it’s one of those small kitchen items that makes life feel a little more luxurious.
