What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received, and how has it impacted you?
The best career advice I’ve received is learning when to be Superman and when to be Clark Kent. Not every situation requires you to step in and solve everything yourself.
Sometimes leadership means taking charge and driving results, and other times it means stepping back, empowering your team and allowing others to grow.
That mindset has helped me become a more balanced leader. Knowing when to lead from the front and when to support from behind so the entire team can succeed.
What’s something about your team’s work that you wished more people knew about?
I wish more people knew how dedicated my team is to improving every day. They’re constantly looking for ways to learn new things and make our work more efficient — not just to make the job run smoother, but to improve the experience for our customers.
Whether it’s getting second or third opinions on potential damages, finding safer ways to blanket-wrap products or coming up with ideas that make our building look and operate better, the team takes real ownership in what we do. Their motivation to keep improving is what drives our success.
What do you enjoy most about working at Wayfair?
I love the connections I’ve made along the way. Whether it’s with people in my building or colleagues I’ve connected with virtually, the relationships here feel genuine and supportive.
I’ve had the chance to learn from a lot of great people across the network who are always willing to share guidance, insights and advice. That level of support has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and it’s played a big role in helping me get to where I am today. It’s motivating to be part of a culture where people truly want to see each other succeed.
What are you doing when you aren’t working?
When I’m not at work, I try to go to as many wrestling events as possible, whether it’s something local or a weekend trip to another city.
Last year I got to attend WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, and it was honestly the greatest weekend of my life. I love traveling and getting the chance to see new places along the way. Outside of that, I’m a big anime enthusiast, and I’ll always say that “Attack on Titan” and “One Piece” are the two greatest anime of all time.
If you could master any skill overnight what would it be and why?
It would be ice skating. I got heavily invested in this year’s Winter Olympics, and now I feel like I have to learn how to land a quad axel like Ilia Malinin. Seeing that level of skill made me realize how impressive skating really is and, honestly, being able to pull that off would be such a flex.
What’s your favorite Wayfair product that you’ve purchased?
My favorite item I’ve purchased from Wayfair is the 17 Stories
Starlah Etagere Bookcase. I love it because it gives me the perfect place to display my collection of Funko Pops and other figurines, and it really helps bring my space together.
