What do you enjoy most about working at Wayfair? 
The people, without question. I’m surrounded by talented, driven colleagues who genuinely want to see each other succeed, and that kind of culture makes a difference. I also appreciate that innovation is encouraged.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve received, and how has it impacted you?
The best advice I’ve received is to master the role you’re in before chasing the next one. That mindset has helped me stay present, focus on building real expertise and approach every opportunity with intention. Instead of rushing toward titles, I’ve prioritized growth, feedback and measurable impact. It’s made me a stronger professional and positioned me well for future leadership.

What piece of advice would you give to new hires at Wayfair?

Be curious and take ownership of your learning from day one. Ask questions, seek feedback often and don’t be afraid to stretch outside your comfort zone — that’s where the real growth happens.

What are you doing when you aren’t working? 
When I’m off the clock, I’m usually spending quality time with my daughter, traveling to new places or trying restaurants that turn into new favorites. I love experiences that broaden my perspective, so whether it’s a quick weekend getaway or a thoughtfully planned trip, I’m all-in.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up, I was drawn to careers where I could make a meaningful impact on others. I’ve always had a natural desire to help people succeed, even before I had the language for what that looked like professionally.

Looking back, it makes perfect sense that I landed in training and development. Helping others unlock their potential feels less like a job and more like a calling.

Where do you call home and what does “home” mean to you?
I call Springfield, IL my home. Home is wherever I can fully exhale and be present with the people who matter most. It’s less about a specific place and more about the sense of peace, belonging and stability you create. For me, home represents love, growth and the space to recharge so I can show up as my best self everywhere else. It’s my foundation.

What’s your favorite Wayfair product that you’ve purchased?
