BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor, today announced the closing of its previously announced initial public offering of 12,650,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $29.00 per share, which included 1,650,000 shares purchased upon the exercise in full of the underwriters' option to purchase additional shares. A total of 10,500,000 shares were sold by Wayfair, and a total of 2,150,000 shares were sold by certain selling stockholders. Wayfair did not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wayfair, one of the world’s largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 11,000,000 shares of its Class A common stock at a price to the public of $29.00 per share. A total of 10,500,000 shares are being offered by Wayfair, and a total of 500,000 shares are being offered by certain selling stockholders. In addition, the underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase an additional 1,650,000 shares of Class A common stock from the selling stockholders. Wayfair will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders. The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on October 2, 2014, under the symbol "W."

BOSTON, MA – August 15, 2014 – Wayfair, one of the world's largest online destinations for home furnishings and décor, announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission related to the proposed initial public offering of shares of its Class A common stock. The number of shares to be offered, the portion of the shares to be sold by Wayfair and existing stockholders and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. Wayfair plans to list its Class A common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "W".
